AGF names 2019 Luke H. Chatman Scholarship Winner

Congratulations to Mr. Elijah Jabari Neal named as our 2019 LHC Scholarship Winner


Greenville, South Carolina - Alpha Phi Alpha Greenville Foundation (AGF) is proud to name Elijah Jabari Neal as our winner of 2019 Luke H. Chatman Scholarship. Elijah is currently enrolled as a senior at Blue Ridge High School. Our AGF Scholarship committee met on May 21st to make the selection from several outstanding candidate applications. Elijah will receive $750.00 per year for four years for attending a college of his choice by Spring 2020.


"We are very proud to support all of our students with their college careers" said Jimmy Durante, Scholarship Chair and AGF Treasurer. "[Elijah] plans to pursue a Sports Management degree at the University of South Carolina". AGF currently supports four students attending college at the University of South Carolina and Mercer University. To date, the foundation has provided more than 30 students with over $80,000 in scholarship funding.
