AGF schedules Annual Oratorical Contest for Feb. 18th

Greenville, South Carolina - It is that time again to plan for the 2017 Joseph Vaughn Oratorical Contest sponsored by Gamma Gamma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and Furman University.  The packet of information for submitting your registration information is available on the Joseph Vaughn Oratorical Competition Event Page with an history of the the past events. 

This year’s topic is “Hope, Harmony, Humanity: Are They Still Relevant in Contemporary America?”  Please note that the Entry Form (page 3) must be submitted no later than January 19, 2017 and the Written Speech submitted by January 27, 2017 and the Final Competition scheduled for February 17, 2017. 

We hope you will encourage any High School Students of Greenville County to enter this competition and also plan to attend the final event in February.  If you have never attended one of these competitions, we feel you will enjoy seeing the talent of our local youth.
